Bungie's Challenged Shooter Marathon Shows Signs of Life

However, following initial testing resulted in mixed reactions, Bungie revealed during summer that it was delaying Marathon indefinitely.
Steering Clear of Controversy
Though Marathon has already seen its fair share of issues, Bungie appears committed to make certain Marathon avoids the same outcome as other games. Now, it seems the project's progress is finally getting back on track, as Bungie just revealed that it has run "several closed playtests to collect player input on the game" since June of this year. The developer is expanding access, enabling additional participants to catch a glimpse of the experience via an upcoming "closed technical test."
