Helicopter Spirals Wildly into Palm Groves at Frequented California Shoreline
A chopper flying above a well-attended California coastline suddenly commenced twirling wildly, ultimately dropping height and smashing into a cluster of palm groves as spectators looked on.
Footage uploaded online show the chopper commencing to spiral above Huntington Beach then descending in the direction of the perimeter of the shore, where it ends up lodged between palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Information
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five individuals were transported to a medical facility including two individuals who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the accident on Saturday.
Three people on the street were injured. Information on their injuries were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was still under investigation.
