Mediated discussions aimed at reaching a final agreement on a Trump administration initiative to halt hostilities in Gaza have commenced in the Red Sea resort of the Egyptian resort town.
Middle Eastern and regional officials have reported that the sessions are centered around "creating the field conditions" for a possible exchange that would see the liberation of all Israeli hostages in exchange for a quantity of Palestinian prisoners.
